Spent some more time in the Nexus recently. I'm really starting to like that place, even though it's a bit messed up. Met a couple odd people. Same old, same old

Some time after Chaud left Proto entered, carrying a bag that was mostly full of shampoos and conditioners but also held several take-out brochures until they could do a more thorough shopping trip. He had no illusions about Chaud's cooking abilities, but there were probably programs to do that here too, and if he absolutely had to he could do it. One thing that had disturbed him was the news reports. He hadn't realized that the fights against the Darkloids were so well known. He was very glad he'd left his armor at the house so they didn't recognize him, but he'd have to warn Chaud. There were murmurs running through the crowds as to his identity, and this was a problem Proto wanted to solve--and had an idea how to. He set the take-out menus on the kitchen counter, then headed upstairs to put away the hair care products. "Gamma, is Chaud home right now?"
"...All right," at least he wasn't out in this world. But there were several things Proto had to talk to him about. First, though... "Send the programs up." He rubbed his hair, then muttered under his breath, "Damn Hikari brat, making me paranoid about losing my hair..."
"Right," Gamma suppressed the snicker until after the monitors were off, then summoned the haircare programs. "I'll have to thank this particular Netto for the entertainment if I ever run into him," he said to himself, chuckling slightly. He then double-checked to make sure the cameras were recording, which they were.
Chaud teleported in from the Nexus, then peered around the front hall. Satisfied Proto wasn't in sight, he headed for the security room.
Unfortunately for Chaud, Proto was a fair bit faster than him and spotted the blue-haired teen's leap onto the couch. He quickly followed suit, landing right on top of his partner and pinning him. "Gotcha!" he announced triumphantly. "Now...why?"
Chaud blinked, startled. "Why what?" he asked innocently. He ignored the creeping blush on his cheeks, as this was a very comfortable position. And he was almost due for another injection...the last one had nearly worn off...
"Don't you give me that," Proto growled in mock anger. "You know exactly what," he noted the blush and smirked inwardly. "The hair. Is. Off-limits. Got it?"
