Even seeing the old Google logo brings it all back. 2001, I was either at home using WebTV, or sitting at my stepdad's "mobile home" as he likes to remember it, using his OMG REAL COMPUTER, which has I think 96MB RAM and 4GB of storage. (He since gave it to his nephew, who has no idea what a piece of crap it is.)
And god damnit, when I sat at that real computer and had the ability to download, I had every free font on the internet, and I had every popular song off Napster at a hearty bitrate of 56k. But that was okay, the speakers for the computer made everything sound like 56k.
