005 - An Invitation

Since Grandmother and Grandfather are still recovering from our recent trip to Japan, and I'm 17, I'm going to be making the annual trip to Diagon Alley unaccompanied this year.

That being said, I would like to take advantage of my newfound freedom to attempt to be social right before my last year at Hogwarts. To that end, I was wondering if anyone ( Read more... )

Oh, well, I was thinking...tomorrow? Sometime this week, anyway. It's getting close to the end of the summer, and it's better to be prepared sooner rather than later, so that Diagon Alley isn't crowded with first-years.

(Not that I have anything against first-years.)

Tomorrow sounds great! And since Mum already says yes she can't change her mind even though I was supposed to do the garden up tomorrow.

But yeaaah better get in before the firsties. Oi, have you finished your summer work yet? Probably, bloody Ravenclaw. I'm, uh, half-done. Just about. Think you could help me with Charms? Oh, and you could come to Maghery after, couldn't you please? Mum would love to have you! And you could meet my Muggle friends! None of 'em know about us, obviously, but they're great fun to wrestle with!

I actually have. Grandmother and Grandfather being muggles, we flew by plane to Japan, which gave me plenty of time to work. I'll ask Grandfather if I can, but I don't see why I couldn't come visit you after we do our shopping.
