"In honor of Eyjafjallajökull, here is Jón Leifs’s 1961 work Hekla, named after Iceland’s largest active volcano. AWESOME. I'm glad I went to Iceland the week before Eyjafjallajökull started spewing epic amounts of ash.

haha now I know something else about Iceland other than its lesbian prime minister... that it has a huge volcano that spews ash xD. Was it fun there?

Epically fun! We did horseback riding, lava tube caving, glacier walking, saw the northern lights, geysers and huge waterfalls, and SAW THE ERUPTING VOLCANO SPEW RED GLOWING LAVA. Awesomeness to the extreme =D. If you ever get the chance to go, you should definitely take it. Volcanoes erupt every 4-5 years on Iceland so you could time your trip around that too hahaha.
