I just read the synopses of the Twilight series books. They sound like some of the most retarded books I have ever heard of. Stop me if I am wrong, but aren't these young adult books? Wtf is everyone doing reading them then? Pick up a book more along the lines of your reading level... or maybe this is their level :o? Sorry for the rant, but they ( Read more... )

They made a movie based on those books apparently 'cause I saw the trailer at The Dark Knight. The movie looked horrible so I can assume the books are too. :x

Yeah apparently the last book just came out and the movie is coming soon. It seems so blllllllleeeeeeehhhhhhhh.

I've been told by a lot of people that they're great. I own the first book but I haven't read it yet.. I've got about a billion books to read.. But I like young adult books.. They make me happy.. my bookshelf is filled with them. I find them generally more.. entertaining than big people books, which I have a ton of as well!

Yeah I like YA books too lol.. I was just severely disappointed with the synopses of these books. They seem so sexist on top of a loosely strung together plot that it made me bash them ;-;.. and I was just making generalities so of course it doesn't apply to everyone, but I think it is true about the people I had in mind when I wrote this lol. <3

Haha yeah. I've heard nothing but good things about 'em.. but I don't know.. I'm not really looking forward to reading them. I don't like sexism in books either, that makes it a bit.. much. but I dunno. I'm just rambling! <3!

i actually found out about this too; i'm only intrigued to see what all this hype is about. i mean i wasn't impressed by what i heard about harry potter in the beginning. it was only until the 3rd or 4th book i actually picked up the first one and became engrossed in the series.
but i dunno if i will ever read the twilight series only because i don't know anyone who has a copy and the library has all of their copies out.
