I'm pretty sure kinder eggs are straight up illegal these days in the US, I still follow news from home and people have been getting slapped with huge fines for trying to bring them across the border. :\

You could always cast your own hollow chocolate eggs but that's pretty fiddly work, and larger candy foils are hard to find.

A friend of mine living in Germany claims she knows how to get them in without getting caught. We'll see.

The US is the ONLY country ever that's banned the things. Grr.
