Mmmhmmm. That little trigger thingie should go off whether you're standing there or not, that's why it's there. If they can't trust their machines, they shouldn't have the trigger thingies just shouldn't be on the pump at all. Let everyone keep the trigger pulled with their hands.
you should send a email to mobile corp. letting them know of the problem. Just you not going there really doesn't make a difference to the station, but complaining tends to go father. Corporations tend to care a more considering they are the ones that make the policies. just a thought.
Thanks. I already reported it to the corporation, and it has been put on the file for their next review. They are reviewed annually to see if Mobil should renew their relationship with the gas station. (Of course, corporate has addressed the issue with the station as a consequence.)

I thas never happened to me and if it had, I would do the same thing you did. How are we supposed to know it's full?? WAIT UNTIL IT OVERFLOWS?!?! COME ON!
