Vet recommendations?

It's about time for me to see the vet even if I'm not out of heartworm yet. I could choose the vet my parents used, the Naperville Animal Hospital, but I thought I would ask you guys who you like and how expensive? Keep in mind, I love Becca and would like her to live a long time. :) Thanks in advance!

i don't know if you remember scott faith from high school, but he's a vet over in plainfield (not the closest to us, or to you), but we take our kitties to him. i honestly can't speak to the expensive-ness, but i'm guessing he's in the usual range... i can forward the info from home if you're interested....

I go to the Vet in my neighborhood, Brookfield. I don't know how they are on price. Last time we took her for a little cyst removal it was 72.50. Before that we took her for a routine office visit and it was 90.75. She received a rabies vaccination for $23, DHLPP $22, heart worm test $24, and 6 mo. heart worm pills $21.75. Please compare this to the place you go and see if it's comparable. Also, some people do like to give the heart worm all year long, but I only give it in the spring through fall.
