Weekend.

Well,  Let's see.

The original plan:
  Head to SLO.  Pick up things.    Day trip to Bay area, see people.
  Go hiking and enjoy the scenery of SLO.   Stick around and give massage when friend returned Sun night.
  Drive home Monday morning.

What happened:
  Got to SLO late, excess traffic.
  Slept in (not a bad thing) But had a nasty headache.

For anything more than $2500, I would sew my own damned thumb shut, jesus. (PS: I have sewed wounds shut before... yup, flesh is actually much like urethane rubber, in that it resists only for a moment before yielding... and also that the skin and sub-epidermis layer rest above a fatty layer and is therefore thin... much like a sheet of rubber. It hurt cause it was a jagged rock cut, and was a bit sore cause I didn't have any pain meds 15 miles out in the woods, but I grit my teeth and in 15 minutes I didn't feel anything other than warm soothing adrenaline and endorphins rushing thru my body) Ask me about other horrific things I've done to myself medically... like the removal of an inch and a half long splinter!
