I am so excited to learn more about the iPhone 2.0, which was announced today in the Mercury News. It's going to be faster than the first iPhone, and cheaper too. I couldn't contain my geeking out over this and had to share! God Bless Steve Jobs.

My husband wants one soooo badly. And he's somehow rationalized it b/c it costs less than it used to, his iPod is crapping out, and he hasn't replaced his phone in a long time. Uh-huh. It seems like too much to pay for a phone but if it also replaces his iPod, it makes more sense.

So... are you getting one?

I still don't trust anything but Nokia because we live in Crappy Connection Land.

I'd like to get one, but I haven't decided on it for sure. I'm curious about what sorts of reviews it will get by users. I think the appeal of it for me is that it's not something I *need*, it's like a shiny toy that happens to have a GPS system, a phone, an ipod, and a tv! ;)

I've only ever had Nokias before, myself, and yeah, they usually give good reception.
