This weekend, although exhausting, was AWESOME. Liz and I busted ass last Wednesday night and got the three general Kyoshi Warrior outfits completed, with just a little bit of finish work needed on the headdress for my costume. THE COSTUMES CAME OUT SO AMAZING

I will be at BCC on Saturday, not Sunday (such a freaking busy weekend), and I'm not doing Kyoshi just because I feel like it's a lot of work (makeup wise) for a smaller con where people might not necessarily get it. Also, because of the amount of time I'm volunteering with the NEG/AB, I would have to be out of it pretty quickly after getting in it, which is just plain saddening.

However, I'm sure you'd be a hit in it! On the other hand, Zatanna is pretty damn awesome too.

I'm having trouble deciding, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with Zatanna. Partly because of doing all the makeup (and then driving up from New Bedford), and partly because yeah, Avatar, although pretty well-known, is still a little esoteric in terms of the US comics DC/Marvel/Vertigo/Dark Horse set. Plus, I actually haven't worn her to many cons. I wore her to AB last year, and I think, honestly, that's about it: I've worn her for at least 3 different photoshoots and Free Comic Book Day, but very little at cons.

I can only make it on Sunday; Saturday I'll be down in New Bedford, visiting Michael, getting my car inspected, and buying a guitar :)
