Coffee Chic is a multi-billion dollar industry, which I find odd. I mean, Heroin Chic is all about beautiful waifs being tragically arty and profoundly meaningless, and while this image is horribly inaccurate, it at least makes some sort of sense. Compare this to the people most associated with drinking coffee, overstressed office workers stuck in soul-destroying jobs in featureless grey offices, and you don't quite get the same effect. Maybe they all need to stare sexily off into the middle distance, or something...
