I'm not sure what it is about your writing, but it puts me in mind of some minor celebrity making his One True Novel, every sentence designed to blow the reader away by sheer force of floridity. It's trying to be original in absolutely every aspect, as well as carrying a sense of verbal narration in the style of some famous personality telling an anecdote

Tyo, love, now you offer me criticsm? This is a 'Trash-Can' story, mostly for the reason you have mentioned, e.g.; tried too much, hero too obviously a perfect asshole, plot meaningless. It was a whim to put it on LJ, but it's not going anywhere else.

In other words, christ, if you're offering literary crit that's wonderful and I have things to throw at you, but this isn't one of them
