I am heartily sick of hospitals - I've spent all week running back and forth to the cardiac ICU of the nearest decent hospital. oh man - your hospital sounds like the rinky dink lawsuit-waiting-to-happen in my home town that very nearly killed my dad with an approximately 800x too high dose of a blood thinner when he was already ON a blood thinner after heart surgery two years ago. *headdesk* I keep telling my parents they need to have Dad brought over here to the town with two *real* hospitals and a university in it if he has heart trouble again, because the hometown hospital killed both my grandparents through neglect and malpractice and I don't want to see the same thing happen to my parents. ;_; They ended up sending Dad to two different major city hospitals to try to get him back to functioning right again; it would've been less expensive for the insurance to authorize him to go to the competent place to start with... aaaaugh! *prays for your grandpa, and hopes your hospital has some people with clues that will help him out*
