We put in laminate, which they float, so there's no worries about the subflooring. Thankfully.

Sorry to hear about the problem w/ the floor. Honestly, material defects are one of the things worries that sits constantly in the back of my mind... Not surprised about the baseboards, etc., having to come out but they should be required to put everything back in place the way they found it.

Here's hoping they get it done fast -- and right.
