Banging my head against the wall until something cracks through is annual tradition by this point! (though I'm glad I checked my fandom email for the first time in awhile because the date had slipped me by). I'm glad you're doing all the work to run it again (and hope you feel that way by December's end...), and in the same format.

Still, I did read through all the signups to make sure there were at least a few that I was a reasonable match with in this smaller pool size before I signed up. It does my recipient less of a favour than me if I'm trying to wrap my head around Draco/Narcissa incest with consent issues - or get past the Hermione aversion I still can't quite completely shake, heh.

Matching is always a challenge when it comes to having a small number of participants.

I have glitter_pink to help me this year, so I think it will be less stress on my part.

I picked up a prompt at Interhouse fest! I think it's my first fest in three years, so I'm starting off careful and not signing up for anything more until that's done. (Like you, I hope I remember writing!) It's good to see you around. I'm so glad you're still keeping that little seasonal toe in the fandom pool. :)

The heart isn't something that survived almost a year between log-ins! I wish I had done this a day sooner so I could have suggested you start off carefully with smutty_claus instead, ha. I excel at peer pressure and enabling both.

I mean, you have some knowledge of the mods, I'm sure they'd let you in if you sent a nicely worded email even tomorrow.... ;)

I hope things are going well with you. Honestly it seems like last years SC was just last month, but in reality you could have become a hippie and taken up yoga instructing in the time it has been.

Haha, I suspect it was a good thing you didn't do it a day earlier, ya sneaky enabler. ;) Since I'm SO out of practice at writing and completing a fic, a prompt fest seems less daunting as did the fact that it doesn't post in December. The prospect of ending up needing an extension into those RL-busy weeks again (as has happened more often than not) is a major stress factor as far as SC is concerned. I truly, sorely miss participating in SC, though. Maybe next year, if I'm feeling braver!

The real life, it is hobbling along, I guess. I haven't become a hippie or taken up yoga instructing (now there's a thought!). :D I hope things are all right at your end, too! *hugs*

Yes, I just remembered that I, too, am still on LJ. Ahem. Had to make a new password because I wasn't used to posting from home. I used to post at work, but I ended up retiring in late June when my position was eliminated so now I've got only this computer to post from.

Writing? I wish I could remember how to do that. I did NaNoWriMo 2 years ago but since then, basically nothing. Meh.
