Heh, tumblr is the new LJ for fic, it seems. Though most of what I have open in tabs to read is hosted at AO3. Times is a-changing.

Really? huh. I had the impression that tumblr was more a photo/gif and occasional mini blogging medium. It doesn't really seem suited for fic.

But yeah, LJ definitely isn't quite what it used to be.

You'd think, but people use it for fic in part because it's easier to recommend something, you just reblog it. Tumblr layouts aren't reading-friendly, but there's an add-on called Readability that makes it work better.
