Buon Compleanno, Hibari! [Fic]

It's 20 minutes until May 6. Please excuse the quality of the fic. I really wanted to write a fic for the guy though and so quickly whipped one up.

First things first, I enjoyed this a lot. I'm very happy to see a gen, rather than romance or pwp, story in celebration of Hibari's birthday. (Nonetheless, the fact that this has implied various pairings pleases me all the same)

Really liked the end, if that is how you interpret how Hibari views his (new - or not new) mafia life, without him getting out of character at all. The following line, however, is my favourite:

He noted the ones that seemed the weakest shouldn't be underestimated as much.

I'm not sure about you, but I'm reading this line as a small step towards Hibari's character development, how he changes from TYE to TYL.

There were so many implied pairings here, haha. XD I think this is my first gen fic, so I'm glad you liked it.

Yess! I tried to have him develop is character a little. I planned for the fic to be dark but for some reason, I can't write dark stuff to save my life. ;___; At least, not without some cuteness/humour. Yeaahh... I'm slowly working on it. :)

I loved those two lines the most! Ah, I can't believe Chrome would lie. She didn't seem the type to. x)

And it also seems that Hibari has grudgingly accepted that he liked his life better with Tsuna and the others in it (well, the mafia part of it anyway)..

That aside, I'm amazed you managed to cram in a fic along with all those icons. I enjoyed this fic as much as I enjoyed reading Possession. :) I guess it's because of your simple writing? LOL! Thanks for the hard work~

I write fairly fast when I'm inspired (andinahurry*ahem*). Most of the time, I'm not though~ Yay for simplicity? ;)

You. Are fast! Man, you got out an icon post AND a fic. Nice job =) And this is a fun read. I like the idea of manipulative Chrome and all the characters you crammed into this made it such a great read! I loved Ryohei's “Real men celebrate their birthdays with a lot of people TO THE EXTREME, Hibari!” Because yeah xD Ryohei does NOT understand personal boundaries, haha. Ahhh, poor Kyouya, crowded in on from all sides on his birthday xD

Thanks~ Chrome doesn't seem like the type to lie like fuwa said, so it was fun writing that short part with her actually doing it. He doesn't LOL. But that's what I like about him. X)
