When you talk about the "world" are you talking about the bigger picture, or the immediate, personal "world"?

i remember studying this word. i think a lot of idealists get into this predicament, at least the ones i've talked with about it. we want utopia! and at times it can feel like we're at its polar opposite. but a good thing about being an idealist is that a lot of times optimism and persistent hope can accompany it. the vision is there.
