XNXP..hahaha I already knew I was an introvert tho..soo..to this day, im not really sure what I am! NT or NF
Without more explanation about why you think things do or do not fit, it is hard to sensibly comment on this.
This combination is confusing, since N being the most definite functio would suggest is was the dominant function, but the P indicates the N is also the most visible one, so that would not fit with being introverted.
So what is it that makes you think of yourself as an introvert, did you read the actual INTP, INFP, etc. descriptions as well as the "rationals" and "idealists" ones, etc. etc...
do you think its possible that the person that you are, your (type) hasnt completely emerged until your older?
Yes, that is possible. It is also possible that you just do not fit into this model that well.
when the description of NT's talk about systems and organizations I dont have a clue what that means
If you have an example URL with that, I might try to explain what was meant in context. Or you could read e.g. this INTJ profile which calls the INTJs the systems builders (and I can explain further if you like).
im abstract, analytical, I want to learn anything and everything
"Abstract" fits with all Ns, so it is not really a differentiator here. So far the way you treat the subject while looking for how things work does not strike me as particularly analytical, but also with NTs there are degrees of that. (Of course, I am the kind of INTJ that actually studied mathematics.) I actually don't really want to learn "anything and everything" because I can't craft that much of a "systems image" of an infinity of topics, although I am moderately interested in learning a little about anything and quite interested in continuously learning something more or better just about all the time.
There is debate over whether a person can be "catalogued" as one type, and have this change during formative years (through mid 20's) or if a person simply shares aspects of 2 different types.
As Jer asked, have you read the individual types, or just the 4 main descriptions? If you haven't got any of the books there are links in the profile.
Some people (actors, writers) have a greater ease in taking on the functions of another type temporarily ...I would think one of the better determinates would be how you react in stressful situations.
I can't speak as eloquently (or scientifically) as Jeroentiggeman about the nature of the brain in regards to all the functions, but I do have a photo showing a difference in the neural pathways between an introvert and an extrovert. I'll try to dig it up and post it.
