The current episode of the Long-Ass Holiday Review is on hold because I'm waiting to review "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," which aired only last night. I can use the break. All the criticism I can offer on this article is the much needed smattering of ATHF jpegs and corporate logos. I realize they must've been omitted deliberately but... WE ♥ MEATWAD!

It would be very impressive indeed if the entirety of this article was merely a ploy to show, sarcastically, how NOT dead irony is. Yet if this is the case, then your article is correct as I must admit that I sincerely agree with it. Which of course makes the article not ironic in some sense, and therefore simply depressing. Before my head explodes beneath mounting recursions however, I would like to point out that every body is--and always has been--so cognitively lazy that holding two contrasting ideas at once is exhausting when compared to flipping a burger or doing something more constructive like injecting heroin. Frankly I think that money has trumped talent (intellectual or otherwise) for quite a while anyway, and buying a Meatwad shirt because the name is funny is just a much faster shortcut to being cool than bothering to waste time understanding the multiple layers of meaning that exist behind the entity that is Meatwad. Right about now I would like to say that I digress, but I don't think I had a point in the first place so ( ... )
