Kool aid stain

See that face in the icon? He just managed his first Kool aid spill, and it wasn't even his drink!

Any suggestions on how to get red Kool aid out of a cream Berber carpet without having to call Stanley Steemer?

OOhhh! Thank you! This seems to have mostly done the trick! I'm going for round 2 when the tot is taking a nap, and then probably using Oxyclean to get the rest out. It pulled 80% of the stain out, leaving it slightly pink right now.

And it makes perfect sense why this would work, too - I remember the stanley steemer guys telling me that moisture moves to the highest point, taking the stain with it, so if you put a towel on top and use an iron to help draw the moisture out, then everything goes into the towel (vs the top of the carpet pile). Rockin'!
