An idea just struck me, taxing the guilty?

Personally I think we should get the same deal those twits in Congress have, but I think your idea is splendid. Of course I may think that way because I have a bad habit of being late with things... *ponders*

I wonder if people actually know how sweet a deal good ol' Congress has for retirement. Even their spouses get paid, just for being their spouses..... gah I can't talk about it... makes me want to stab.

I'm going to agree with you, just because we have to file late this year because we're still waiting on a T4 from someone...

Why on earth would I subject myself to the wilds of Canada? ;)

I don't have 25 cents. Have change for a $20?

The prospect appeared quite attractive to you a few months back with that possible Toronto job and all?

No george Bush, remember?

Heh is this your way of saying you filed your taxes late? I've never questioned the April 15th deadline because you have 4 months to get your act together. It's not as if They're due 30 days after you receive all your forms. Plus nowadays theres so many ways to file your taxes.

However, regarding social security I think we should have to pay 1/2 of what we're paying now since we're never going to be able to use the system.

When they owe me, I always file late because there is no penalty.
I like the idea of the Federal government providing me with a no-touch savings account if you will.
This year I am paying different amounts after having relocated to to a new province so I thought about the double standard of one party not honoring it's agreement with impunity, and the other having to pay when that occurs. It doesn't seem even remotely fair.
I do concede that I have not filed, so your right on the money with that one.

I think the idea is so good that it'll never happen because the good ones never do.

I also think that if you ever get it in your head to lead a revolt against stupidity and gross incompetance that the world would be in trouble. That and I would love to volunteer to sterilize them all.
