Prince. Bleh. I can appreciate that he plays a variety of instruments, but he was just never my thing. (nor was MJ, but I do like a few Jackson 5 hits)
Ha ha with the KISS song :D
LOVE that Cat People version! ♥
I very much approve of your Elton choices, particularly Madman and Movie... ;D
... and your Stones choices...
... and then some...
I noticed most of the memes relating to music leave out Motown, etc!
I don't have nearly as much as I used to, by way of vinyl. Lost crates upon crates (upon crates!!!!!!!!) of vinyl in a fire in the mid-90s. :( Talk about a mental breakdown! I'm still, to this day, trying to duplicate the collection I had -- in CD form, anyway. :/
Wow, I can realte, because I was very stubborn about not converting to CDs. I lamented the loss of the bigger artwork on the gatefold albums. I finally caved during a moving job, I used to make my freinds move the albums in alphabetical order. That was probably the only thing in the universe I'm anal about. Once the collection got past 1000 albums it was becoming difficult to cart around because I was on the go for abit. I GAVE them to a friend, his wife nearly killed him for accepting them and he sold them to a used record store, no joke.
Wow. I respect your music memory. I completely draw a blank at memes like this. Although, wait. I'm lying. I came up w/ a Hank Williams song that I like. Cawliga, I think it's called.
I thought pixies were the hungover hallucinated visions of little humans, that could be rendered invisible with worcestireshire sauce in a tonic. Obviously, I don't know their music.

You have some great choices in there and some I will have to check out. It's disappointing that we have no motown listed.
