I've noticed a propensity of warnings on written material about age and suitabilty lately and I must say that I am in opposition to this and surprisingly feel quite strongly about the matter.

I wanted to laugh at the condom rant... you sound just like my Rob. It was odd at first to get tested before sex, and then go through the whole IUD process (I tought what the fuck... wouldnt just be easier to use a goddamn condom)... but Im much happier (and so is he) sans the condom and the limitation of such use...

funny story about kids and books... apperently when I was 4 I found a book explaining sex and the human body in the library... the librian was apauld when my mom shrugged and let me take it out to read. I find it funny now, and she enjoys the story... and tells everyone she always knew I would be a sexual person... (how right she is lol)

Good thing I left out the part about wanting to meet the inventor of condoms and place on over a baseball and and tell him it's for his own protection.

I thought that might be a little overboard.

The formulating of opinions on difficult matters is far more important than a lot of people realize and tends to avoid the development of the sheep mentality.

I'm sorry you went through such a mess for years like that, and I'm glad you got through it as you did while avoiding the uhh extreme career choices mentioned.
