Making a pie time, with the late summer bounty.

Thank you thank you. Our lemon cucumber plant, while much smaller than yours, has...many cucumbers growing up, plus we still have the bunch that freyley grabbed from your place. I think this pie will be on the menu. SO delicious.

My other fave thing to do with the lemon cukes (other than eat them out of hand on hot days) is slice 'em up and serve them with a small pile of salt and cayenne, for dipping-snacking.

non. standard. product. a risk for growers because not everyone recognizes them, therefore, very niche. cucumbers are supposed to be dark green, 6 - 10 inches long, and covered with a thick layer of food-grade wax (and perhaps a condom).

but if you want lemon cukes, seriously, come'n'get 'em.
