Really nice use of the prompt, and not just a reflection on how relationships can grow naturally and unforced if we're willing, but also what drives us to want that little bit of more from life-- even if we're almost wall-to-wall with other pulls on our time.

Good luck with the date, and I'm peeved that the guy at work had too be such a tool about the whole thing (but again, if he's awkward, he just may not be good at that kind of thing in general).

Thank you. :) That's more or less what I was going for but it's hard for me to say if I achieved it, since this was hard to get out of me (the fingers didn't want to work).

Thanks! And hahaha, Josh is... well, he's Josh. I dodged a bullet I think and I really think he's just not good with that sort of thing in general. I've seen him interact with others and he's just... awkward.

This is so well done and so cute. I love it. The "my life is great! ... but there's this girl..." is just so sweet, and smile inducing. So often, fantastic relationships come from that exact feeling. Definitely worth exploring. Good luck and hope your date goes wonderfully!
