These topics kind of begged for meta or crack, in my book, and between the two of us, those bases have been covered.

I find that writing porn (which I haven't really done for a while) tends to be slow because there is choreography involved. Blocking. Shifting POVs.

I've written battle scenes, and they are much the same. Action has to be conveyed, and that takes focus. Which can be draining, fun as the idea is that's driving you. :D

These topics definitely did beg for both of those things and I wouldn't have gone the meta route if it weren't for the fact that I spent most of my time writing a thing that would NOT leave me alone, no matter what...

Yes, definitely. I can pound out smut just like I can anything else but it definitely used to be a slower experience for me before everything evened out. And I write a lot of it so I think I have an easier time with the blocking than some.

Battle scenes are a whole 'nother level though, for me. xD Way too much effort for me lolol

Yes! Choreography! I ghostwrite a little erotica on the side. Sometimes it can really be work!

Ghostwrite? So, are these people who feel their book needs some of that sexin' stuff but aren't able (or are to embarrassed) to write it themselves?

Otherwise, if you're writing the whole story, well... hrmm. What part is the "author" actually doing himself or herself?
