Mad excited
I hate Michael Cera, mostly based upon my complete wrath against the movie Juno but I really want to see his new movie Scott Pilgrim vs the World.
The premise is pretentious and obnoxioius but something about the mixture of cartoon violence and romantic comedy seems like campy fun that reminds me of the great tone that shows like Buffy could achieve. I also really love the movie poster, I almost want to get it as a poster but then people would think I'm a fan of Michael Cera which is unacceptable.
The supporting cast looks awesome. Chris Evans looks like the perfect douche bag and the random assortment of vaugely ethnic exes look exciting. Ramona flowers played Sue Tenney in Sky High which is one of my favorite Disney movies of all time and its nice to see her in another movie. And one of my favorite actresses Mae Whitman who I have loved since State of Grace and now she is one of my favorite parts of Parenthood.
I particularly like her because she is everyday pretty instead of Hollywood beautiful. Another movie that looks really intriguing is Let Me In, even though I haven't seen the original the movie poster is particulairly tempting.
