Last night it snowed a bit, and was extremely cold, so it froze.

Right now, with the wind chill, it is zero degrees outside. ZERO DEGREES.

The best part of all of this is that I don't have to go to the four classes I usually have on Mondays, and believe me, I'm as giddy about it now as I was in first grade when there was a snow day.

We only had our 8 and 9 ams cancelled (I had a 9am that I was glad to miss) and with the wind chill it was -1 at 8am. I can't wait 'till Thursday when the real snow hits!

Whimps...up here in Pennsylvania, we get wind chills of that once a week or so, and it's already snowed three times...and not once has my 9am been canceled, or any of my classes for that matter. Bah. North Carolinians can't take the weather.

(Then again, up here, they put so much fu*king salt on the roads that you track in more salt then snow sometimes, and the roads are as white with crushed salt as the ones in NC are when they DO accumulate snow...)
