How 'bout a good ol' rant?

Let's see, something I dislike...

I seem to have some deeply set annoyance with the word, "weird."

Weird - Of a strikingly odd or unusual character; strange.

Why the word 'weird' should not be used descriptively amongst friends.That's got to be one of the most most popular words used to describe anything and ( Read more... )

Maybe some people just can't articulate their thoughts. It's not that they want to hide insite, they just can't convey it appropriately. Then you're the dick, you dick.

Trust. Now, what you're saying is that trust must be established through verbal communication, which does have a factor in it, but it isn't the only thing. It's all nonverbal. It's all in the feelings.

For instance, I've barely talked to you over the last 3 years. I still feel as though you're my friend, though, because there's a sort of trust there, that we can somehow rely on eachother for some thing.

Another example, I really don't know my mom that well. We never talk that often, our conversations are really about the same things, and once when I started talking about something meaningful it felt really awkward because it was with her. It's sort of sad that my relationship with the person who brought me to life mostly involves routine, but I don't think it undermines the fact that I love her. It's because there's an enormous amount of trust and reliability there.

I don't know if I misunderstood your point, but to answer this question: trust.
