i once wrote an entry about my dog and how she is pointless, but satisfied. she is content because her simple mind cannot search for strange mysteries; nor does she care to.
things would be easier that way, if life was to "succeed" by achieving high social status by whatever means necessary, to climb above others on the corporate ladder, to compete with humanity and to survive and to compete and to gain status and to compete more to gain more status.
what the heck is status?
somehow, there are a few of us who feel there is more.
being content with the picture of life as a struggle for status is common and comfortable. but i know there is more. it's not easy. it's often extremely difficult. but it's better; better in ways that only those who have been here with us can understand.
if you had the choice to be content with everything, would you take it?
