Mmm... it's not a pro-Hamas demonstration. It's more about bringing peace to those who want it. There is no need for bombing (on either side.) Yes, Hamas does send rockets over. And Israel counteracts with taking over more and more control of PALESTINIAN land and not allowing them to cross to any other places if they need to. Many have little to no access to basic necessities. And let's just be frank about it - right now who has the upper hand? ISRAEL. And who does the US support with US made weaponry? ISRAEL. I am not AGAINST Israel, nor am I against Palestine (nor am I distinctly FOR any of them either.) Both of their government have fucked up and BOTH SIDES are extremists. The US gov't likes to paint a picture of the brutal Radical Muslims and how they're always willing to blow themselves up and how they're constantly attack Israel and constantly a threat. But Israel is just as bad if not worse at the moment for having more power and more money and more help from people like almost-former Pres. Bush. And the thing is, the US is

so i was going to create a long heated response to this earlier tonight with other facts and links to sources of information and all of that stuff but honestly i got home now at 2am and i'm exhausted and i know that you will never see my point of view and i won't see yours and i guess that's alright. although it's funny because that's kind of the same basic scenario of how israelis think and how palestinians think. except i won't shoot you down and i don't think you'd shoot my down either. let's agree to disagree on this one and hopefully you'll at least agree and hope that the violence should end someday. the point is neither of us will change anything that is happening over there by arguing over live journal.
