Yesterday, we arrived home from a week-long trip to Provincetown. If, like me two months ago, you'd never heard of Provincetown, it's the city on the very tip of Cape Cod. I remember hearing of Provincetown, though I don't know if it was in elementary school or if it was in an early American literature course that I took in college. At any rate, I remember nothing about it other than the name. As for it being super, super, super gay...I wonder if there was any Merrymount-style maypole dancing and heathenism-flaunting taking place there back in the day :) The third sentence in Provincetown's description on Wikipedia says:

Sometimes called "P-town" or "P'town",[3] the town is known for its beaches, harbor, artists, tourist industry, and its status as a vacation destination of gay men and lesbians.

It sounds like you had a great time, and the instagram photos were cool and fun to look at!

You have a crazy amount of visitors! Clearly you have some wonderful, close friends and family, and I guess being in Boston, you're in a location that people want to visit anyway, unlike Indiana. Do you drive to NYC? How far is that?

Haha! Yeah, people weren't exactly chomping at the bit to see Indiana, but it was closer for our families. We do drive to NYC. It can be under four hours, but it has taken as long as seven when there were accidents or construction. At least an hour of that drive is NYC itself. It's so huge and sprawling!

Haha! Really? The meal we had at LP -- tuna with mango butter and sopa do mar -- was my favorite restaurant food. Obviously, Amy's tacos were the best overall.
