Okay, so you inspired me to go back and start watching this again. Just finished episode 4, and MAN, do I love Lee Min Ho's pink pants of righteous justice.
Also I love the father/son issues (so awkward when you're fighting with Dad over who gets to kidnap and interrogate the suspect!)
haha, "Pink Pants of Righteousness" is just about right!
His slightly too short skinny jeans used to bother me, but at this point they are just a trope, one that makes his shoulders look broader than ever, so w/e, it's cool. XD
If you like that thread, you will be happy with the arc! It continues to be pretty much the main emotional arc through the whole show. Which is unusual and beauteous, if heart-breaking. Which is the point.
It's ironic, since I was so busy selling other people on it when I watched it originally!
But I learned my lesson about finale spoilers on a show you *really* care about, esp. a real action one. Romance ones tend to go along the same lines, it's the little details to them. Not so this story!
I couldn't make it through the violence of the first episode. T_T I'M SORRY.
I did start watching Big because I was tired and stressed and my friend who got me to watch Coffee Prince linked me to it. Thoughts so far: THE SHIPPING. SO CONFUSED.
It's okay, my cry of agony was more along the lines of "No one is still FINISHING it who watched it" if it was too violent in the first episode--well, it's fairly bloodless for most of the in-between episodes, but the finale's pretty mean.
It's not my usual kind of show, which may be why it was so awesome to me! I rarely get into things with lots of martial arts and impassioned revenge and endangering of lives.
understandable! this and Korra are my attempts to get back into the swing of "following something as it comes out."
THAT MAKES LOTS OF SENSE AND I AM GLAD YOU LOVE IT! Your loving of it speaks very highly! I might give it another try when I have more time (hahahaha she keeps saying), but I would have to have someone to watch it with.
/shifty eyes
/has to work WP through the original ATLA series first so that he will fully appreciate Korra
Ahhhh, and even so he won't know what the waiting was like, not knowing if there was going to be a follow-up...
I think you should just watch what you want, heaven knows I can't even make time for that, and I regularly let things drop though I know they are awesome and other people love them. T_T:
