Goddam, I need to make some more music soon or I'm going to go crazy. It's been way too fucking long. This weekend, I think. I need horns and strings and percussionists. And people who can harmonize. Like I said before, world music's the aim. We'll see where that goes. I've sort of picked up a few more techniques and sounds on my didgeridoo and like always, I've got lots of ideas. I hate schedules.
Anyway, continuing the never-ending music theme, I've got some Bonobo for you today. He's really of the producer type but has intelligently decided to do his own stuff and make it and play it and all and I think it's wicked. I actually only have his live EP (three of the tracks posted here) but I've heard a good amount of his stuff and I'm never disappointed. Wicked stuff; it's sort of sampled chilled-out beats but with a real style and layering that's just genuine and perfect for almost any occasion.
Also, in spirit the producer-music vibe, I'm going to post a link to an mp3 of RJD2's cover of Radiohead's "Airbag" since I know many of you have gotten into him in the past little while. You can listen for yourself but I must warn you, I was horribly disappointed.
