Umami

Ate some hula hoops and learned something about a 101-year-old japanese invention/discovery. I feel my day has been well-spent. :)

It's monosodium glutimate (msg), that most exciting and enthralling of flavoursome additives. Stick 'umami' into wikipedia or something and be prepared to have your tasebuds blown away! I wasn't prepared and now i regret it.

And if you're in the slightest bit confused, the hula hoop packet claimed not to have any msg in it, so I took it upon myself to find out why. Begining and end of idiotic quest. Aren't you glad you asked now? :D

Yes, I was very very bored

I'm not glad. Just sad not to have anything funny about how the acronym is msg.

Now, I read the wikipedia site. And I'm not especially glad, but slightly relieved that I didn't try to make a joke about MSG.

Thanks. I steal icons. And when I make my own, people steal them. It's mayhem.

I'd consider the option of never forgiving you for such blatant and self-confessed theft, but I can't deny your choice. Damn.

(never really watched that japanese import though :P )

Oh, and I'm not that much of a thief, so it stops here :)
