This morning I went on to every tampon website I could find and clicked on the "free sample" button. In four to six weeks I will have oodles of tampons arriving in my mailbox, it will be like Christmas. Sort of

Oh man. Pads with snaps? I personally am grateful for the individual who came up with the sanitary, disposable, stick-backed napkin, so that stuffing rags into your underbriches once a month was no longer necessary.

josh said he would sew me some good fabric pads, but that hasn't happened yet. pi uses a real sponge that came from the sea. when it gets overburdened, she squeezes it out, rinses it & pops it back in.

i want those rainbow pads! very cute!

umm... hmm. she & her husband (seed) just came to town but now they are gone again. they're going north to build a village in the trees, and then going to new zealand to raise bunnies & alpacas. they're too adorable.

but i didn't ask where she got her sponge. she told me it was just an all natural sponge, and that's what it looks like - a piece of one of those all natural ocean sponges. you should look it up, it's a pretty neat deal.
