This weekend I went to NEW ORLEANS for MARDI GRAS--it was my first time there and the weekend could not have been more perfect. We (kater, jen, stephen, me) left Thursday night, had dinner with Kater's family in G-boro, then hit the road hard core. Slept a bit on Friday, then went out for the parades! We had a house right across from the parade

i almost went to mardi gras. a group of my friends who were going convinced me to go to lake charles, louisiana on thursday night and we gambled until 6 am, at which point i turned around and drove the 3 hours back to houston. i should have gone the rest of the way to nola instead.
