So I go the FFXII demo today. Played through it a couple of times. A lot of people are upset about the sweeping changes implemented in the battle system. The battle system has been likened to FFXI, only single-player. Having played FFXI, that just isn't the case ( Read more... )

It comes with Dragon Quest VIII.

I was just reading a review of that. How is it?

I have Tales of Symphonia for GC that I'm probably breaking out for the next couple weeks.

It's an incredibly traditional RPG, which is what the Dragon Quest series is known for, along with its offbeat humor. 3 hours in, I'd say it's a pretty solid RPG. But then again, I just finished the first dungeon, so who knows?

I've heard that Tales of Symphonia is excellent. All of the previous Tales certainly were. Tales of Phantasia (originally SNES, never came state-side) is being released on the GBA. Hopefully it'll be a good port. I've played it emulated with a fan translation and it was a great game.
