⒣istory
Rukia was an orphan who lived in a shelter. The young girl really hated enclosed spaces, so she and a group of other boys used to go out and cause trouble on the streets. She would get scolded and wouldn't care. Fighting, stealing... she was a natural delinquent. It wasn't until the death of her close friends (except one) that she wanted to stop living the life she was, but couldn't. At a young age, she had seen too much, but knew nothing outside of the lifestyle she was used to. And she was taken away from the life she knew (and leaving her best friend behind) when a rich and well known man came into the adoption center and signed papers to make the adolescent his sister.

The days were harsh after that. She destroyed the room given to her because she hated the new setting. She tried to sneak out constantly to go back to the shelter. She threw tantrums if she didn't get what she wanted. Through her newly found brother's patience, her attitude completely changed. A bad girl gone good. But in becoming "tame", one thing bothered her the most: She now had a family, but this didn't feel like one. She felt like a caged animal with a person looking down at her as if she wasn't an equal. It was the one thing she hated, so Rukia sought a family elsewhere since she couldn't find it in her adopted brother.

During her days of sneaking out, she came across a male by the name of Neji who saw her drawing. At first, the girl thought he was an annoyance and brushed him off. But due to her changing attitude, she warmed up to the male and they became friends. He's the real 'brother' figure in her life.

Because of her behavior before, her brother thought it wouldn't be a good idea to send her to school. So later on, she transferred into high school and awaited for her new chapter in life to start.

⒭umors
⑴ She used to be in some sort of gang when she was younger (before she was adopted).
⑵ She and Neji are dating.
⑶ She's hard to approach sometimes because people consider her a "yandere" (nice on the outside, harsh and cruel on the inside).
⑷ Has a brother complex.
⑸ There's something deeper, hidden under her layer of her niceness if one is able to approach her.

⒡acts
⑴ Rukia loves to draw and carries around her sketch book everywhere. It was one of her coping items that her brother gave her in order to change her life around. So if there's something upsetting her, one can find her drawing more than usual (or skipping class to draw).
⑵ She still runs away from home from time to time.
⑶ She hasn't forgotten her best friend from the orphanage and it still trying to find him.
⑷ The only people who know about her past are her brother and Neji.
⑸ The only people she can call her friends are the boys who passed on from the orphanage, the one who was left, and Neji.
⑹ Because of her sheltered life, she's not completely familiar with how things work and function. Because of this, science happens to be class she doesn't do well in.
⑺ Considering she doesn't know how to act around people, she smiles a lot, does a lot of 'saving face', feigns weakness, and "sparkles." It's her 'transfer student' personality (and she's manipulative with it). The only people who have broken past this barrier is Neji and Shikamaru.

⒭elationships
Neji: her friend who's almost like a real brother to her. Not her friend with benefits (okay maybe a little), boyfriend, her hook up buddy, no. Simply her brotherly like friend. She can't see him beyond that since they grew up together.

Shikamaru: Neji's (best) friend? She's not even sure. Rukia ran into him a couple of times of skipping class to draw. He would stare at the clouds and she would be near him drawing. They never really converse all that much, but they at least know each other. Also, her prom date.

Kenpachi: She's not too fond of the male, but considering he doesn't like her brother (for no apparent reason she thinks), she doesn't find any reason to talk to him.

Namine: Rukia wouldn't call her a friend, but someone she can talk to. They draw together a lot and she appreciates someone who understands her drawings that isn't her brother.

Brooke: He 'hits' on her (whatever that means). She doesn't take to compliments too well, so she either gets insulted or blushes furiously. The first happens more often than the latter.

Kagome: They have some classes together, but she doesn't know much beyond that. She knows the girl pushes to be her friend, but Rukia rather not get close to anyone.

Ciel: They're in the same grade but he sees her as a big sister figure. She's not completely sure why, but she thinks it has something to do with her wealthy status. She remembers seeing him at parties but considering her attitude at the time, she wasn't allowed to play with the other kids.

What she's wearing for prom

And no, the bang in front her face hasn't gone anywhere.
