We were on the ship going back to Baticul. I was waiting for Master Van to show up on deck and I got one of my headaches and I heard that weird voice again and I couldn't control my body or anything. I think I might have passed out, but I heard Master Van saying something before I blacked out. You were only on the other side of the deck.
Not my fault that I keep getting grabbed by giant bird monsters, or attacked by cold women who somehow teleport me halfway across the world, or meet up with crazy colonels who decide to make me prisoner just because he can, or that Malkuth decided to kidnap me when I was a kid!
[Maybe the fact that he's the son of a Duke and essentially heir to the throne...or it could be spolierish reasons that he doesn't know about himself yet!]
