CHARACTER INFORMATION:
Name: Victoria Pace
Age: 16
Fandom: Lilo and Stitch: The Series
Point in Canon: Post Series so her history will be a bit AU and she will be played by Michelle Trachtenberg.
Personality: Victoria is a smart and kind girl with all sorts of quirks to herself. She's not a shy kid by any means. She likes to seek and explore her new surrounds. Like when she first moved to Hawaii she couldn't wait to start taking a stroll around to see some of the people there. Everything was so new to her that she couldn't help but feel excited. In being an adventurer one has to keep an open mind about people, otherwise Victoria wouldn't be Lilo's best friend. Sure lilo was weird but so is Victoria. The girl has a potato chip collection of stars from the 70s. She believes everyone has quirks and traits that makes everyone unique. It's those quirks that make it fun to be around people and if everyone was the same then life would be extremely boring.
In being an adventurer Victoria will try anything once, as long as it's not totally embarrassing, dangerous or will get her thrown in jail. Prior to moving to Hawaii Victoria played soccer and then once she moved she also joined a hula dance school. Learning to dance hula was fun for the girl and gave her the chance to explore other types of dance. However, ballet was too constricting and she didn't like tutus, jazz was less strict but still had rules, so she just stuck with hula. She also stuck with soccer because she is a bit competitive--what person doesn't like to win? So while she was in Hawaii, having amazing adventures with Lilo and Stitch, she also had hula and soccer to occupy her time.
Moving onto the other quirks that make Victoria special she's weird just like her best friend Lilo. Weird in the sense that a lot of people wouldn't find her potato chip collection to be cool, or that she likes vampires and werewolves (anything supernatural really), sci-fi flicks and action movies. Why? Because she's a girl so that does make her weird...but she's also weird because she doesn't mind talking about gross, disgusting stuff, she did that all the time with Lilo at sleepovers. She won't start suddenly talking about gross things, but if others are talking about it she'll chime in. This makes her able to have more guy friends than actual girl friends. Though she has some girly tendencies to her. She does like to cook and when she was younger she did play with dolls that were homemade (cause Lilo is an awesome sewing teacher) and every now and then she'll dress up but when she does her guy friends make a big deal about it. She also likes to sing in the shower. Her parents think she has a nice voice, but she doesn't think so.
In a nutshell, Victoria is a kind tomboy who is active, smart and likes things others would find to be strange.
History of the Character: Vitoria was born to a couple in the late 80s on a hot summer night. Her mom, a homemaker, used to joke that her tummy was too hot for Victoria to stay in there another couple of days. For the first six years of her life Victoria lived in a two story house with parents in a gated community until her father moved them to Hawaii . The move was a little weird for Victoria since she was so used to living in her old house with her white washed walls that redecorated with crayon scribbles and growth chart. Though she understood the reason behind the move, her dad was getting a promotion to be the VP of operations of the Hawaii/Pacific Island district of his company.
Prior to the move she heard of the state of flowers and surf. When she moved there she was a little shy of the area. Though her mom encouraged her to go and wander the town a little since the neighborhood was quite safe. While roaming around little Victoria managed to bump into a black haired girl name Lilo who was selling her ‘Famous Aunt Pleakey’s Lemonade’ with her blue dog named Stitch. Victoria wasn’t hesitant about talking to Lilo who wanted to throw her a party. Mertle, another girl who had a flock of followers, told Victoria to ignore Lilo since she was weird but she didn’t listen to her. At the party things were a bit weird, but that only made Victoria like Lilo more. They had something in common, they were both weird. They preferred monsters, zombies and the color orange to the other things normal girls liked.
Lilo quickly became Victoria ’s best friend. After hula practice she would hang out with her and Stitch doing crazy, silly things. Like bake spider shaped cookies or run around with Stitch. It didn’t bother Victoria in the least that Lilo’s Aunt Pleakey, Uncle Jumba and her dog were aliens. Those things only made Lilo look all the more cooler to her. One day though while Victoria was hanging out with Lilo they came across a bat like animal that kept trying to eat her face. Victoria told Lilo then that she had a fear of vampires. The vampire bat turned out to be an experiment labeled Experiment 277. Experiment 277 kept flying to Victoria ’s face and fearing the thing wanted to eat her she teamed up with Gantu to capture it. That…didn’t go as planned, but it worked to Victoria ’s favor. When Experiment 277 finally latched onto her face (she of course did freak out) it was revealed he only ate snot. Throughout the entire day Victoria was having sinus problems (from the weather) which made Experiment 277 very attracted to her and after he got off her off-SHE COULD BREATHE AGAIN! Lilo told her Experiment 277’s one true home was with her and she agreed. Lilo renamed Experiment 277 as Snotty and he’s been living with Victoria ever since. She wasn’t the only one who suffered from sinus problems in her family. Her parents at first were hesitant about having an alien as a pet but once he demonstrated what he could do he was accepted.
Over the years Victoria got more interested in different activities like suffering and playing soccer. She and Lilo stayed best friends up until Victoria was fifteen. That’s when she and her family had to move from Hawaii to Nevada . Her dad just had to get transferred. When Victoria heard the news she cried and tried to rebel, even going as far as trying to run away to stay with Lilo but that didn’t work. Victoria promised to write to Lilo everyday and stay best friends. In the beginning she kept to that promise until school got in the way and she began to make new friends but no one could replace Lilo. It was hard though moving from paradise to the desert. Once her family landed there she acted out a little more such as giving them the cold shoulder and dying her hair blonde. In retrospect dying her hair blonde wasn’t the best idea; she looked like one of those Barbie dolls and after a month changed her hair back to its dark brown/red color. Little by little she got used to life in the desert.
At least until her father got transferred again to California where once more she had to pack up again, leave some friends behind, forward her mailing address and try to settle into a new place.
Magical Powers/Skills: As far as magical powers go, Victoria doesn't have any. As far as skills go, she's a good hula dancer and soccer player. She can skateboard but she's very rusty.
Weapons: No weapons but if she has a soccer ball she could kick it at someone.
SAMPLES:
Personal LJ Sample: Okay, it's...Day 67 in living in Nevada. The is hot, like I'm being bake in an oven that's gonna be eaten by the Weather Gods. All the fans are on and so is the AC, but it seems like the heat from outside just seeps in. I'm trying to make it feel like a fridge in here, without...actually climbing into the fridge. I'm not a contortionist and I don't think my mom would be happy if any of the food spoiled.
I'm finally gonna get rid of the blonde in my hair. I mean, its a nice color but it's too intense for me. I thought I grabbed 'sunflower' blonde not 'hot white sun' blonde. I don't know why there's so many shades of one color, but at least by the end of the week I'll look like me again and not some...crazy, psychotic Barbie. I mean, looking crazy and psychotic is cool, but not when the name Barbie is attached.
I wish Lilo could be here...she would know how to beat the heat.
Third-Person Sample: Victoria stared down at the blank pieces of paper on her desk. She had gotten assigned to write a thousand word essay on a topic of her choice. It seemed easy when she got it in the classroom, but now...it was hard! She knitted her eyebrows together, trying to figure out what she could write about. She promised herself she would get at least the introduction down. Write about anything! Just be search it has research attached. A sigh fell from her lips, pushing her chair back to get up and plop down face first on her bed.
"It could be historical. It can be on literature. It can be anything...Then why is it so hard?!" She needed inspiration but where? It wasn't as though she could purchase it at the dollar store. If only life were that easy. She rolled over to stare up at the ceiling.
"Zombies, I could do it on zombies and the folk lore on them. But I've done that...same with vampires and their impact on movies. What haven't I done?" Victoria mused out loud, listing off her fingers the topics she's done before. She supposed she could go into the realm of science fiction on this paper, but she was saving that for the spring semester! In the fall she always wrote her papers on the supernatural (if she could help it) and in the fall she wrote about science fiction stuff like aliens. Her heart sunk a little there as her thoughts drifted to her best friend Lilo. What was she doing right now? Was she in hula class? Was she feeding Pudge--
"Voodoo!" Victoria suddenly sat up right, inspirations hitting her right then. "Voodoo! I haven't done voodoo yet and I know there's a lot of stuff from the library I could use. The religion, where it came from.." she started to write down the possible sub categories of her paper. Finally! She was making some headway!
