[ Godric hears Akina's voice and he rushes to the boy's side - and frowns. He looks utterly defenceless, not a weapon in sight, and that's just unacceptable. The man moves to stand by his side, sword clasped tightly in his hand. ]

You should go to the safe home. You have no means of defence, young man.

I'd worry more about Enjin trying to do something amidst all this chaos. Don't worry about me - I should be fine. We've dealt with worse than this where I come from. I might not be able to hurt them, but they won't be able to hurt me.

[He could dodge and run with the rest of 'em, that was for sure. Mind you, when they had been dealing with worse in Sakurashin, he had a couple youkai around him, but a life around Hime, Kotoha and Touka had given him good dodging instincts.]

Yeah, I guess it's a trade-off, really. Attracts their attention, but also attracts the attention of any stragglers.
