This is really awesome... I use GIMP, but I'll be referencing this next time I color.

I have a question about finishing. When you go from a colored scan to an icon, how do you size it down so that it's not pixilated? Every time I work with manga colored icons they turn out really oversharpened and pixilated, and I can't get it to smooth out.

Can I ask where you set it to Blend Mode >> Multiply, and create a new layer underneath the line art? It's my first time testing out SAI so I'm totally lost, haha.

Oh never mind, I figured it out. Thanks for the tutorial!! I usually use photoshop but SAI is pretty good so far, too. The selection tool is easier, at least.
