Oh, I like this one. I very much like it.

I don't really watch Deadliest Catch, but my Dad does, so I'll see bits and pieces all the time. And I was stunned to hear about Phil Harris.

I'm so late ... story of my life.

But, on a brighter note, the kitchen is completely back in order. I'm in awe of it, lol.

I've watched Deadliest Catch almost from the very beginning. Phil Harris was my favorite out of all the captains, and I too was stunned to hear that he'd passed.

I have no idea what his sons will do. They've both sailed with him for a few years now, coming slowly into their own as deckhands. To carry on without their father at the helm is going to be very hard for them.

I'm so glad you liked this. It was just something I felt I had to write. Thanks.

I like how without saying it expressly, you show how Elizabeth is first mate through her actions and dress. Also the description of her.

Thank you so much for letting me know that you liked it.

I like to believe that Will and Elizabeth end up together, either by hook or by crook. And she would definitely be the first mate to the CotFD.

I remember talking to you awhile back about possibly writing a sort of crossover story that involved the Deadliest Catch. I somehow didn't think that I would be writing it about my favorite captain. I'm torn between being sad at his passing, and realizing that he died while in the midst of doing something that he loved.

Thanks again.
