I am actually trying to put or shake off whatever this is, but it's been lingering, so! Let's meme'ing!
Takanari, Joshua, Ashe, and Kino are all safe in that order. I am not going to go over and over with the points, but: I am secure in their characterizations and the fact that I am never going to nail them perfectly. They have amazing casts, where they do have casts, that are made of awesome people that only make playing them more fun. I really do enjoy playing them for any number of reasons, mainly for being antagonistic or having weird world views. Cold dead hands, drop when I'm ready but not now, etc.
Yukino
I have had problems from the first day with her! Somehow, I couldn't bring myself to pick-up her intro until days after the fact. . . Then, I never really had the initial burst where you are just excited to play that new character. I thought it was a hiccup, but it's been two months and she still hasn't broken a thousand. Meanthewhile, Kino is likely to hit it in a month! I do like Yukino's spattering of connections in camp, and she is hilarious when she takes the stage. To be fair, I enjoy playing her when I do play her! Yet I don't play her very often at all which is odd considering she is supposed to have taken primary position as I felt awkward without that up-beat girl character leading my pack. (And even more awkward with my rapist being the primary as he has always threatened to be-Ahaha!) Yes, it should not be a bad thing if one of my characters backburns, but Miyazawa Yukino is not a backburner. The thought of getting her out and spamming is daunting. She is exhausting to play while also being treated rather differently in camp than canon. I can't put my finger on it, but it's just one of those things, I think.
Then, there comes the critical problem, she is co-dependent in a horrible way. She cries because she's been away from Arima for a day during the sports festival! Then, she ends up sulking the entire summer vacation long while he's away at a competition and training. Yukino isn't completely unable to function without Arima, but after coping with two girls who follow the same trend? I am not ready to deal with another Usagi or Kizna pining for their partner for months on end in camp. So, the idea here may be to cut my losses before I shell out some more money for her account. A-Ahahaaa. . .
Fujisaki
Honestly, it just feels like that time. I have hit a point where I do not want to fill out serious polls, because I have to answer for him as he is at the top of my list. Then, I tried to throw him out in a post that pinged him twice over yesterday and was just frustrated with the thought. . . This is where it really feels like it's time. Yes, I could put it off, play the wait-and-see game, like I did with Usagi for half a year before I dropped her-But I really think it would be better to rip the band-aid off as much as it may hurt. I do love his character and what he's done in camp. I never thought he would have gone as far as he did or done half of the things he's done. Somehow, he's managed to come full-circle in camp though. He is back at the same place he came in at, where he was completely used to the madness of his life and the others around him, making small developments but ultimately remaining the same. I could kickstart him again, like I keep saying, but I am just not interested. He does have a lot of relationships that I am hard-pressed to part with, but. . . This may just be the way of it.
So, you have your warnings, guys. I might throw up a notice soon. . . Or fight the good fight with them. It's hard to tell with how I play! But if you have anything you want them for? I would suggest hitting me hard and fast now.
