First Impressions for Kino! You can ask for my other guys (Joshua, Takanari, and Ashe) if you'd like as well.

And while you're here: Does your character think Kino is a girl, a boy, or option three?

Yuta thinks Kino's a boy. :(

Why the sad face?

Like I said, Kino has a "thing" for redheads, so she is taken with Yuta. He's a decent kid with a good head on his shoulders even if he has an odd way of going about things. In a way, it suits how she prefers to interact with people, so she's at ease with him. Mm, she doesn't really see him as that much younger than her, especially since it's such a small age difference between them and she was about his age when she became pretty set in how she is now. So, Yuta isn't a child to Kino. Overall, Yuta isn't a bad person to socialize with and she enjoys his company.

Ashe on Laguna? I don't think any of our others have really interacted worth noting...

Ashe isn't really one-hundred percent sure of Laguna. So, she isn't comfortable with him around Lymsleia, but she does appreciate someone else looking out for the princess. That aside, he doesn't seem like a bad guy, but he doesn't really strike her.

...so clearly, Laguna needs to hang around Lym more. |D

Joshua, re: Chris? :U

Joshua just. . . Can't figure out what to do with Chris. He isn't in the mindset to want to play with people, but Chris is slow to the punch that it makes it seem like he is. Frankly, Joshua knows if he came out fully with what he is then Chris would flip out which is just annoying. Joshua knows better than that attract the attention of someone like Chris, who seems to be talking with nasties and trying to win, in that way. Joshua would just like Chris to keep a polite distance from his business, including with Chrno. Still, Chris is interesting and amusing in his own right, so Joshua is just likely to bug Chris when he wants to.

. . . Reverse?

Chris likes Joshua so far, and finds him interesting but knowledgeable! Potential allies or friends in the same line of business or thought oooh :o :o :o And a demon fighter, impressive~ And yet fairly calm in personality, so Chris is relaxed around Joshua. At this point Chris probably wouldn't completely freak out to find that Joshua isn't human unless he somehow came across as bugnuts crazy, but I like the clueless interaction thus far and it will continue as long as possible lol.

Takanari on Shuri :x

Oh, goddess. . . Uhh, Takanari realizes that Shuri has a very special way of viewing things, so he isn't stupid. Takanari is very sure that he isn't stupid, but it really looks like that sometimes. He tries to give Shuri the benefit of the doubt in his being annoying, to the point where Takanari thought Shuri had a lot in common with how Takanari was before. . . Until he got so fed up with Shuri that he had to discredit that entirely. (I was not that bad! I couldn't have been-No, no. I definitely wasn't.) In the end, Takanari is willing to let Shuri be Konatsu's project as he intended to in the beginning, especially after he did manage to hurt Takanari's feelings. Takanari doesn't dislike or think Shuri is particularly bad as he doesn't give weight to his opinions like that, but he just prefers to not deal with especially troublesome things unless he chooses to! And Shuri is not even close to his realm of important things that he would choose to do that for. So, he can run around doing whatever he likes as long as it doesn't come back ( ... )

Hahahaha :D;; ...how did he hurt Takanari's feelings :( I MEAN, HE WAS PROBABLY TRYING TO AT THE TIME, BUT IT DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK.

It was actually completely unintentional! Shuri was saying how it's alright to share things like that with people who aren't his friends and Takanari thought he was actually. . . Being friendly with him. Friends is a personal issue of Takanari, so it was the first time he thought they might be when he was apparently in the wrong. He walked it off fine though.

I don't think any of mine have met Kino since she she got back. I think Thor'd met her before and might've had an inkling, but nothing solid. Ricochet would be clueless, but Spirit and Xanatos are good at piecing things together and might figure things out eventually.

But I was actually curious about Ashe & Thor, after their conversation during the drinking post...?

Like I said to David, sorry about dropping that thread! Long replies to Ashe make me all nervous, um.

Ashe likes Thor! He's probably the person that she's closest with outside of the party. . . And more openly so as well with the way she just relaxes around him. She can talk with him and doesn't hide as much as she does with others. To a certain degree, she can accept the fact that he can understand where she's coming from moreso than others. So, while she takes everything he says with a grain of salt, she can understand why he says it most of the time and does take what he says to heart even when she doesn't comment on it. Thor is, of course, still a goofball and a joker in her mind, but she can appreciate his depth whenever it decides to surface. She likes being able to switch levels with him.

Ahaha, yeah... No worries--I have a tendency to turn replies into lectures anyway, and Thor's dialogue style doesn't exactly lend itself to brevity.

I think it's interesting that Ashe thinks of Thor as a goof, because that's a side of him that doesn't always come across to most people--he's usually seen as more stern and reserved. But it makes sense with Ashe, because with the whole fellow royal thing she's also the kind of person he can relax around and open up to, so that lighter side of his personality can come out. I'm kind of pleased that it's worked out like that, really.
