Tonight i celebrated elli's birthday in lafayette. I now know the meaning of white trash. I have seen the life that I could have if I decided to go to UL. I have seen the night scene of the happening college kids. Some of them had teeth, others had vintage nikes. If nothing else i enjoyed sitting there with elli and just releasing stress

i wish i could have been there. i tried calling all day, but couldn't get through. if you see her again soon, give her a super huge hug for me!

I will. I can never get in touch with her over the phone either. Try texting, that's the only way that works.

I also left my knitting stash and all my needles and stuff in New Orleans. Luckily, I brought one project with me, and I've started a baby blanket for the couple that I'm staying with. Hopefully the blanket and the sweater will help get me a job in a knitting store in Boulder since it's all I've got to show right now...

I told my boss that I'd love to come back when the New Orleans tourism and convention business comes back, which will probably be in about a year. Right now, I'm taking the opportunity to go do children's theatre in Boulder with TJ, which is mainly what I wanted to do in the first place. Unfortunately the apartment hunting is going rather...expensively, so we'll see if my grand plans pan out.

I just want to be somewhere other than Dallas right now.
