So my ex is lying to and manipulating someone who is a total stranger to me.  She is pretending to be her friend, while sleeping with her "friends" boyfriend.  She is trying to find this girl a new boyfriend and a new place, so she no longer lives with Claire's lover.  From what Claire said this girl has got problems and is vunerable which is why

I'd try to keep out the way for your own sanity and the sake of your contact with the kids, but good luck in whatever you choose. It's a very difficult position to be put in. :(
